It was in hidden mode so I used the Shift+Ctrl+Alt+H so that I could look at the logs. When I looked to see what e-mail address it was being sent to it was my boyfriend's email address? He is a computer programmer and told me thats because its his e-mail listed on the router. I'm just wondering if there is anyway to find out what other e-mail addresses the logs were sent to? Windows 7, from my desktop, or any place for that matter, right clicking to obtain a "new" folder option is not there. I started my computer today & it gets as far as the Windows logo & then the monitor goes to sleep & I can't see anything anymore. The screen is black. I've managed to start it in safe mode, & safe mode with networking. I've tried rolling it back to an earlier state using Windows Restore, but to no avail. I am changing to a Dell Precision T 5400 duel Xeon quad core, 2.0Hz and it will not take even the .NET FRAME WORK 3.5 sp which I understand I need for all the other drivers to run with. For now I have installed a Windows XP pro 32 bit OS to get it up and running to make sure it does not need any kind of work. When I have everything as far as hardware / software working I intend to upgrade to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. It just will not connect to the net.? Have not been able to get any of the drivers to take from this, working computer to disk and install on the Precision.
