I recently purchased a Fix-It program and I am suspicious they are purposefully corrupting my system to try to sell me the upgrade (or) are in cahoots with other deceivers in an adjacent office. How do I stop their causing problems? I have tried CTRL/ALT/DEL as soon as I see the desktop screen but they deny my access to it at that timee through the administrative right I allowed them. I don't want to uninstall their program as I paid good money for it and the fact they GUARANTEED I would have NO problems for a period of 1 year. These culprits are affiliated with Microsoft (or so they say). Needless to say I am pissed. Are there any honest folks that can help me here? If so I greatly thank you for your input. I have an acer aspire one net book that came with windows 7 home premium preloaded in it. But my hard drive crashed and is not connecting when i start the computer. It shows the message PXE M0F. After some research i found out that i need to replace the hard drive. But my warranty is over and so i cannot send it in. I went ahead and bought a new hard drive and decided to install it my self. But the problem is that i don't know how to install the os on the new hard drive. I was wondering if there is a way i can use the serial number under my laptop to activate windows. And if i can then where can i get an iso image to make a bootable flash drive? View the thread

We use SCCM 2007 to do OSD deployments. A matrix is in place and information from the old computer is part of that process so installation of the sofware is a part of the OSD deployment. We are having some issues with this. Office 2013 and the oct has been used to create a silent install of office 2013. SCCM is set to install whether a user is logged in or not and the allow as a task sequence is checked. The problem happens during the deployment. The files all download to the cache but the install never runs. The errors in the log indicate that a user cannot be found in wmi. If it is set to install even if the user is not logged in and it is silent why would it need a user? debra View this thread

Hi I have problem about activation. I did install Office 2013 for 2 times on Windows 7 run by Parallel on Macbook Pro. Windows 7 didn't work well and had blue screen many time I tried to run games. I decided to get rid of them by using Bootcamp assistant tool on Mac and didn't think about the Office Suite that has limited time on activate the license. Now I'm trying to activate again and see the error message. I just bought software for a week. How can I possibly solve the problem? Thank you View this thread

Hello, I hope I can find out why this is on my computer. It uses a huge amount of space every time it does an update. It wasn't always on my program list, when I first got my computer. I'm trying to remove unused programs to free up space.Does anyone know what "Bonjour" is used for? These are the only things I'm not sure what the need for them is for. Any help would be great. Hello, We currently use a UNC network share as a mapped drive for our users. everything is dumped onto this UNC share, and although a little messy it does at least allow us to break things down into departments and share stuff between the right people using security groups. Moving forwards, skydrive in Office 365 and 2013 are available to users to store data in. I see the benefits of the whole "access anything anywhere" scenario and the 7GB limit per user (or whatever it is) is a nice quota. however, how are businesses finding the use of skydrive for sharing data between others in the company? can IT get into those accounts easily to extract data the business needs? what happens when a user leaves the business and we stop paying the subscription for that user, what happens to our data then? is it easy enough to increase the storage for each account as those accounts approach their limit? is there a cap on how much a single user can buy (I'm sure a while ago the skydrive packages showed 100GB as a top option... but what if we needed more? I know its unlikely, but "what if")? this is business data after all, secrets, plans, collaborations, projects... it's ours but someone else has hold of it, how much control do we have of our own asset here? does anyone else have any other experience they can contribute the positives and negatives of using SkyDrive in a business, regardless of company size I'm interested to hear from anyone. Have an HP P7-1020 pc with 8gb ram, OS home premium 7 64, Epson NX110 printer, and Hannspree HF207 monitor. Lately my monitor has been showing a web site very clearly, then within minutes some of the verbiage will become out of focus and multicolored in the display. Have checked the drivers in it using the display function within control panel, and it shows it as being up to date. I have all the latest updates from Microsoft, including Java as well, and Flash is updated as well. This began to show up within the last 3 months I believe. Not sure what to do, the research shows from the Hannspree site display should be set to 1600X900, and it is. When not using a browser the display shows a screen with rotating pictures from MS as background, have a few gadgets on the display at right, all show clear and sharp, it is only during the use of the browsers that the display is messed up, I use Firefox v19.0.2, with adfirefox, and a few plugins, for Foxit PDF, and download add on's.Any suggestions on correcting this will be helpful. I will try same set up using IE10.0, or even Chrome and if it is clear on those will put a comment on this to show that.Thansk View the thread

I just had a call from PC Rescue who said my computer was severly compromised. A technician said that they are contracted with Microsoft to call and fix critical errors. I'm running Windows XP and just recently upgraded to IE8. My Windows firewall mysteriously became disabled and I cannot enable. During the time that this occured I downloaded IE8 and also had some virus activity. I think I am on top of the virus and I believe the IE8 is okay. Any suggestions? View this thread

I lost my Windows 7 Ultimate CD and my motherboard got fried by a surge when lightning struck close to my house. After having a new motherboard, processor and memory installed, it's asking me to re-activate and I don't have the key. Since I previously activated this product, can't Microsoft look it up and tell me what it is? I shouldn't have to re-purchase a license just because I lost the disk, should I? Windows 7 keeps shutting down, particularly after Windows update and I am unable to start it other than in safe mode. I have tried last known good configuration which works for a while and then shuts down by itself. This has been happening since a couple months of after I installed this computer. Any ideas? I have recently purchased a new laptop with windows 8 operating system. I have setup 2 emails through Outlook - one of these email boxes seems to work fine, however the other one periodically loses the entire contents. The only difference that I can tell between these email boxes is that the one that doesn't have problems operates through a POP3 server, the problem one will only work with IMAP server. Vista Ultimate x64. Intel I7. When I boot in safe mode (minimal), the computer will start up ok, When I boot "Normal" it fails to load fully. The status bar freezes. Using MSConfig to disable all start up and all the services it will let me, and it still freezes during normal boot. Automatic Startup Recovery believes everything is ok. Safe mode with networking freezes as well. View this thread
