Hello, my sound stopped working from one day to the next & no clue why. When I go to my speaker icon info it says " No Audio " and the volume control is grayed out so can't adjust or click on anything there. I have Windows 8 tablet devices for INTERNAL only use (no internet access). They are all connected to private domain network. I need them to access internal Exchange server. Spent half !*%$^#!%$* day trying to add exchange server into Mail app but it keeps asking for Microsoft Account. When I trying downloading my Ohio state which I paid for with H&R Block At Home Deluxe + federal e-file + state I get the following error message: Unable To Connect SSL ERROR: bad server certificate or incorrrect PC date Please check the date set on your computer. Saved the federal return and closed H&R Block At Home, made sure the date and clock has the right day and time. Reopened the program to try and get the state program only to have it get the error once again. Started Friday March 2, 2013, again Saturday March 3, 2013, and once again on Sunday March 3, 2013, still get the error message. Is there a problem with getting the Ohio state program? I've just installed a Verbatim 256GB SATA II SSD as my C: HD and find that inside my Win 7 Pro XP Mode using the HD Speed testing untility HD Tune it only shows transfer speeds around 9-10MB/s Also booting up into XP Mode is extremly slow I've also found that when I'm in Win 7 Pro the transfer speed HD Test results that I get vary all over the place Sometimes ca. 190MB/s other times down as low as 5-6MB/s My Seagate 500GB SATA HD C: consistantly shows ca. 130MB/s and XP Mode Boot up time is much, much faster I realise there could be several factors causing these SSD problems but I appreciate it if anyone can suggest a way to find how to correct this Transfer Speed problem/s Thanks in advance Max View this thread

I recently upgraded to an Intel D975XBX2 motherboard and Intel 965EE processor. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit version. I purchased it almost 2 years ago and it came with both 32 and 64 bit versions. I understand the Intel D975XBX2 motherboard and 965EE processor will operate the 64 bit Windows & software. Have owned Canon PIXMA MP530 for about 5 years networked to 2 computers running XP Pro. Just replaced one of the computers with one running Windows 7 Pro (64 bit). New computer is up and sees both printers (we have a Brother HL-4040CN also). Can print on the Brother, but will not print on the MP530. Error message is "printer not responding". Tried downloading updated driver from Canon with no effect. Tried downloading MP530 firmware update with no luck. Any ideas out there? View the thread

ntdetect failed occur when i install windows xp how to overcome this ? When you try to open a OneNote file from an Office365 team site while in Windows 8 (x64) and using OneNote 2010 the notebook will not synchronize. It gives error code 0xE4010640. I have verified this countless times now across multiple pc's. It will work perfect fine if you open the file using Windows 7 with OneNote 2010 as well as if you use Windows 8 and OneNote 2013. It only fails to synch with Windows 8 and OneNote 2010. I would have been fine with the Windows 8 / OneNote 2013 solution but Outlook 2013 has serious IMAP issues so I had to go back to Office 2010.
