Hello there, I have not been able to play a PC game named: Fly ! from Terminal Velocity a 1999 edition, I have tried many things sugested by other websites like: ckliking properties on the game icon and Compatibility tab and change to compatibility mode to earlier windowas versions and also to change setting and or priviledges levels but still not working and this is what it says: MICROSOFT WINDOWS : FLY ! HAS STPPOED WORKING A PROBLEM CAUSE THE PROGRAM TO STOP WORKING CORRECTLY WINDOWS WILL CLOSE THE PROGRAM AND NOTITY YOU IF A SOLUTION IS AVAILABLE... I dont see no notifications no where any ways the thing is that I have not been able to play this game Can any one guide me in what else to do? View this thread

I have recently purchased a new PC on which I have installed Windows 7. The Motherboard maker, ASUS, suggest a backup copy of the BIOS be put onto a flash drive using their BIOS update utility. However, having installed the utility I am having difficulty following their guidelines. If I do a complete backup, including a System Image, using Windows 7, will this include a copy of the BIOS and thus obviate the need for a separate BIOS backup? View the thread

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I am clueless [so please bare with me]. I am running Widows 8. I upgraded my memory from 4GB to 8GB and after I installed the modules [sticks], I get the blue screen and the message "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart". Hello, I'm not sure when this started, but for some reason I cant open file explorer windows. Things I have tried Unpinning it and repinning it to the task bar using the metro shortcut (win key + "file explorer) using metro shortcut and clicking open file location using the other metro options when you right click restarting restarting explorer.exe SFC /scannow or w/e, said there were no problems shortcuts on the desktop. The only thing that works is if i create a new flippin user account, which is annoying and not really a proper solution. What do? View the full article

Original Title: Windows Media Player. I recently bought a used laptop,BenQ joybook S,that has wmp12 installed.I cant rip any music,but can play music via it.There are many icons left in the library that the previous owner left on(note there is no music file,just various band icons) I cant remove aswell.Is it possible to delete wmp and then install a fresh version?There is also a version of VLC media player also installed.Would I need to remove this as I do not want to use it.Would there be a conflict with this being on there aswell?The laptop has windows 7 ultimate installed as its operating software.Can anyone advise and help me out please as I am used to wmp on my old systems and would like to use it on this laptop.Thanks View the thread

I have about 65 downloaded games that I play a lot. I have them in a folder on my desktop. this is fine, works perfectly HOWEVER, they are listed individually under my ALL PROGRAMS from the start menu. How can I get them into one folder in that area? They take up too much room and make the ALL PROGRAMS so long it's hard to find a program that I am looking for. I have to scroll through all those game names!!!! Understand? I am using a VAIO VPCJ1 multi touch screen and Microsoft Surface Collage software that came preinstalled on pc but there are no instructions. The problem I have is that after moving images from the gallery (which are shown at the bottom of the screen) into the collage in order to exit the screen I would save (click icon bottom right hand side) the file would then save as a j.peg. If I then want to amend or add to the collage the software does not allow this to happen as it is save as a j.peg, Question is how do you save a collage which then allows changes? View the thread

My data on my many Hard dives have their master table file in different locations on each disk some on the near the front of disk some on back of data on disk and other on in middle of disk should worry about the MTF not in front of disk. In my Start screen, my mail tile sits static because I don't use the built in mail client. Instead I'm using Outlook 2013 on my Windows 8 Pro. Is there a way to show email info i.e. number of unread emails, etc. from Outlook in that tile or is there an Outlook tile? The same question goes for Calendar info.
