Hello, I am planing to deploy Office 2013 and created a MSP File (Setup /admin) for the silent Installation - everything works fine - except the uninstallation of Office 2010. In the OCT I´ve selected the Option to remove previous Versions of Office. I can remeber that this works perfect in Office 2010 to remove Office 2007 too. But in Office 2013 this doesn´t work anymore, the installed applications wizard (appwiz.cpl) Shows both Version of Office are installed. What is the best way to remove the old Version silently and install Office 2013? I would like to have all in one "Application" deployed via SCCM 2012 SP1. View this thread

Okay, so I am having a serious issue. I could give you the shpeal about how music is my life and what not, but I won't. I got the Windows 8 OS on my computer I just bought because it was the latest and 'GREATEST' thing. Well, at this point I aim to disagree. I have used windows since I was like, 6 right? Well, Windows 8 and it's Windows Media player don't seem to function on the same page. I got used to 8, but I hadn't tried to toy around with the WMP on the laptop. I got it to open, but it froze up and refused to start anything, other than have a blue spinning circle whenever I hovered over the window. I have installed and re-installed my Vista (Home premium) 2 times already because of Remote Desktop connection. I have a problem connecting from another laptop running windows 7 to connect to my desktop running Vista. The remote operation works the other way around meaning from desktop running vista the laptop running windows 7 professional.Looking at the Vista under SystemRemote settingRemote Tab that the remote assistance box is showing but the Remote Desktop box where you can choose which type connection can be made is missing.I have gone though all the forum answers but nothing help. Even in a command prompt running "sfc scannow" did not help. It says that it found corrupted files but it cannot fix all the corrupted files. I am able to get to multiple URL sites, but consistently have been unable, using Internet Explorer 9, to get one URL in particular. Hello! I have a Laptop Dell Latitude XT2 which was shipped with Win Vista 32bit and 3GB ram at the time, but with upgrade disc to Win 7 32 bit (I think was long ago). I got the discounted upgrade to Win8 from Microsoft, so I did online upgrade to Win 8 32bit which works perfectly on this laptop (except somewhat slow). So, I have purchased a new RAM upgrade, which brings my laptop to the maximum of 5GB it is capable of having, however now I am not sure how to change windows 8 to 64bit to fully use the extra new memory? While I prefer to do it legit without dealing with cracks/activation, I am NOT going to pay once more for the same product, just to get the very same product compiled for 64bit architecture.. My problem is that when I receive an email with pictures and then try to forward it to someone else with the pics, I receive a notice that says some of the pics will not be sent and when I look at the Sent mail, it shows a box with a Red X in the upper left hand corner. Sometimes it puts the pics up in the upper left hand corner of the email and has a comment like View album or something like that. Is there a setting that needs to be made to enable me to do that? Hey there, In looking through forums, I see that I should be able view my Bluetooth device status through the networks portion of the Settings Charm after selecting "Change PC Settings". Also, going to airplane mode should disable it. Neither is the case for me. Has anyone seen this? I also noticed right clicking my Bluetooth systray item doesn't allow me to disable the device. I have to go to Device ManagerNetwork Adapters listing and disable it there. Further, when I connect my bluetooth headset, the only way that I have found to connect it is to go to playback devices and manually connect through there. This seems a step back from Windows 7, but I think it's probably tied to the above problems, and I list it only for context. I downloaded the most recent drivers. I am very upset that after buying the retail MS Office Home and Business, it doesn't install on a drive other than the drive the operating system is on, and I don't know of anyway to get my money back! After using MS Office 2013 trial for nearly 2 months, I liked it, and bought it. It easily installed on my D drive and functioned without error. I read about it, but never read anything about it installing on the operating system drive only. What in the world is this all about? My os drive is dedicated to the operating system. Something is very wrong here. My information, above, is based on what technicians at MS help told me. I'm running a routine incremental backup of my C drive to an internal CD/DVD drive and getting: Access is denied. 0x80070005 The OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. Antivirus is Windows Security Essentials. I am able to copy files to the CD/DVD drive without any error. I am the sole user and administrator of the computer. I am using a Dell Latitude 10 tablet with Windows 8 Pro plus Media Center with a Kensington Folio Expert bluetooth keyboard and case. In device manager under the Bluetooth Radio Properties, the option for "Allow this device to wake the computer" is greyed out. I would like the disable bluetooth devices from waking the computer because when I close the case, keys get pressed which then wake up the tablet (and start wasting battery). I have looked in the BIOS for any Bluetooth settings but there aren't any options for this. All of the sudden I can't open jpeg files sent to me by email in my Windows Photo Gallery. I can still download pictures from my camera, but anything sent to me in an email doesn't load and I get the message 'An error is preventing the photo or video from being displayed'.
