I keep getting a pop up asking if I want to buy upgrade with a link to erase. When I hit erase link, I get message that the uninstall file does not exist. The program is listed in my install/uninstall list but I keep getting same message that the uninstall file does not exist. I assume this is intentional but how do I get this off my system? I have installed Visual studio 2012 and IIS 7 on Windows 7 Ultimate version. I'm getting error message 'Unable to run on configured Development Web Server' and 'Unable to run on IIS express' when I tried to run a web application from VS2012. Whenever I am trying to delete/create anything in D Drive or any folder in D drive, I am getting this error message. It is either a folder or even a file. It also says - An unexpected error is keeping you from deleting (creating) the folder. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem. I am using a Dell Latitude M/c (hardly three months old) and Windows 7 professional. Surprisingly, this problem comes and goes away on it's own, approx after 5 hours. I have windows 8 and I use the task scheduler a lot to start programs for me, but now when I try to schedule a task a prompt comes up and ask me what app do I want to use to execute the task. I'm wondering why did Windows change the windows task scheduler? Is there a way to have it like the way it was in Windows Vista? In my Outlook Express, during last day or two, when I click on Send New Message, the message blank opens in a minimized format instead of a maximized format as in past. To obtain a maximized (or full) format, I must right toe click on the lower task bar and request a maximized format. Each and every time. Apparently, the default needs resetting. How can I fix this? Inplace upgrade from Win7 Pro to Win8 Pro. This is an always running home computer. When I click lockscreen, there is no logon screen. It is just blank screen (with the chosen background color). I can still remote desktop logon from another computer. And, after I have remote logged on, then the local logon screen appears. My laptop (Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7222, 64bit, Windows 7) keeps crashing, and started crashing soon after I bought it last June. I either get the blue screen message: "a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval", or it just freezes. Monday I did a complete system restore of the OS, and started re-installing my programs, but when I got the blue screen again, I rolled it back to a restore point to where it's fresh from the system restore (before my program installs). And I just got the blue screen AGAIN! That's with nothing (that it didn't come with) installed!
