Don' know what I did but since the XPO was completely redone; ie ; the XPO disk that came with the Dell in 9-9-2006. Of course lost all music, photos (ww2), address files, favorites, and much more. I discovered this while using an Excel 2007 or 2010 .xlsm file. (I also saved the file as a 2013 .xlsx; same result.) This does not happen in a new 2013 workbook. Excel 2013 is rounding (as it should) when decreasing the amount of displayed digits in a cell. However, it is also truncating the data, which is NOT correct. There are internal functions to invoke if the user wants to use rounded data in future operations. Ex. Type: 1.9 in Cell A1 Decrease precision to display no decimals. Result: A1 = 2 Increase precision to display 1 decimal place. Result: A1 = 2.0 Increase precision to display 2 decimal places. Result: A1 = 2.00 View this thread

I have some DRW files that I need to work with and my version of Office doesn't have Publisher, which I used to create these files. I purchased a 2003 edition of Office Pro which I had researched to see if it would operate with Windows 7 and was given the go-ahead. . Sorry for the question. i think there are a lot of questions regarding encrypted files in the community. but my reason of asking this question again is that i have DELETED my admn user account. i encrypted the files with this account. didn't add a recovery agent. and then created another admn account and deleted the original admn account with which i encrypted the files.(yeah, i know im stupid). so, is there any chance i can get those files back???? I'm trying to use our file server to install Office 365 Pro Plus and have created a local source of the installation files using the /download switch and I'm now trying to deploy using the /configure switch. My configuration.xml file looks like this: --> But when I run the deployment from an elevated command prompt it tries to download a file called i641033.cab that isn't in the download folder, unless it is in the stream.x86.x-none.dat file? The error in the command prompt is: ERROR: DownloadAndExtractCab: Failed \serverinstallOffice2013OfficeData 15.0.4481.1510i641033.cab -> C:Program FilesMicrosoft Office 15DataClientUp dateDiri641033.cab And in the setup log in %temp% I can see it trying to grab that file over and over again until it fails. My computer won't boot, not even into safe mode, and I've misplaced by Windows XP CD. Is there a free program or operating system that you folks know of that I can boot from a CD (without having to reformat or partition anything) so I can recover my personal data? Okay so there were the updates on the 9th and 10th of April. On the 10th, the following were installed: KB915597, KB2813170, KB2799926, KB2817183, KB2760406, KB982726, KB2823324, KB2808735, KB890830, KB2813347. I've heard in my morning's searching that the one in bold has been causing issues and am looking to install that today if I need to. The updates for the ninth, titled "Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 for x64bit systems", was for whatever reason only installed last night (17th). That apparently included all the ones listed for the ninth, and, according to Installed Updates: Microsoft Windows English Hyphenation Package, Microsoft Windows English Spelling Package, Windows Internet Explorer 10, and security updates KB2586448, KB2559049 and KB2530548. After this update, the computer was turned on again for use. I've just been told that directly after, it did what happened below IN ADDITION to icons flickering upon logging into user accounts. The following happened last night right after the update to someone else (it was described to me), but what I wrote below is what I experienced this morning. It booted as normal, but when on the user login screen (the blue one with icons), well the login screen itself took far longer to show up than normal. Upon logging into a user account, that also takes much longer than usual (30 seconds up to 2 minutes by estimate) to finish. The 'Welcome' transition with the loading icon will stay there for longer than normal, and then at the point it would give way to the regular desktop, the screen remained black. The only visible thing was the cursor. The screen remained black until I pressed Esc, at which point all resumed as normal. From this point it operated normally. It's still operating normally, as if nothing's amiss. My computer is Windows 7 64 bit. It's new -- custom built by a computer store in February 2012, and so 14 months old. With 8 gigs of Ram any slowdown is very noticeable. I figured before I went uninstalling any updates (I haven't uninstalled any before, and this computer isn't fully backed up yet because we can't yet afford the storage media OR cloud storage), I would ask what may be causing this issue, or which update specifically. I need help quickly, because I'm worried about what might happen next time I log off. I think I may go ahead and uninstall KB2823324 immediately, come to think of it. Please, I need some answers. Hi, For the last couple of days every time I start up my computer NotePad starts up. The title on it is short - Notepad. I have searched every file for a note titled short. No luck.
