  3. JeanTech in my personal opinion are PCWorld cheap rubbish that realy are not worth the few pounds you spend on them. Sorry if that offends you.. Take the PSU back and buy yourself a decent PSU like Corsair or OCZ.... I always say the PSU is the heart of the computer if it fails/overheats it can cause more damage than just a dead PSU.... Your running a dual core CPU it deserves a better branded PSU,your issue is JeanTech PSU,it will run hot and eventualy fail....
  4. Hello and welcome... What make and model is your PSU...? As the GPU needs a minimum of 400 watts PSU I would of certainly gone for at least a 500 watt. PSU do get very hot. How many internal fans do you have and are they all working?

  11. Hello and Welcome.... I am afraid we cannot help you with this, although you maybe the genuine owner or your daughter we have no way of proving this..... It is against forum rules to help with password recovery, however we will help you with any other issues that do not break forum rules... JB.

  15. Hello and welcome.... Firstly you need to enter BIOS and set first boot device to your CD/DVD rom,pop in FULL XP install disk save and exit: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph07110&dlc=en&lc=en&cc=us Here is how to install XP: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/operatingsystems/ss/instxpclean1.htm I hope this helps?
  16. Does your hard drive show in BIOS and on post screen? Were you upgrading to Windows 7?
  17. Hello and welcome... My first question to you is,does the hard drive show on post screen and in the BIOS? Have you tried last known good config? Boot to the Recovery Console and type chkdsk /P and hit enter. the Check Disk Utility will try and fix any file errors. This could be a viris... I will alert the Security Guys for you... The 0xc0000022 error means Access Denied, which could be the malware changed the NTFS Permissions. If you can connect the drive to another system you could remove your files then reattach the drive and do a full reinstall of windows.... However let the Security Team have a look first...
  18. You need to update the drivers... Depending what graphics card you have installed you also need to install the software,if its a NVIDIA card you need NVIDIA control panel,if its ATI you need catalyst....You use the software in conjuntion with windows display.....Have you done this?
  19. You need to logon to windows and set the external to primary display....
  20. Hello and welcome... The usual process to transfer the video output to an external source is to hold down the fn key and press f4. Use the arrow keys to select 'Projector Only' and hit enter.
  21. Hello and welcome.... Are you able to tell us some of what the blue screen says? Are you able to enter BIOS and see if your hard drive is listed, also is it listed on your post screen? Did you install any thing recently or experience any problems before you got this blue screen error?
  22. I totaly agree with you Starbuck...... The only person who can speak to Virgin is the subscriber....Number one....
  23. Hello and welcome... As you have tested his monitor on your computer and it works we can rule out his monitor as an issue. BUT have you tested your monitor on his computer and do you get the same issue? If you do it is possibly a cable needs replacing, loose graphics card or even failing or failed graphics card...
  24. I sugest you get your father to join the forum and we can speak to him directly as you are making no sence at all....Your father could give us the correct answers we need as you have confused the issue and took time in answering the questions set before you... A Virginemedia wirless router can have its name and key changed easily enough by logging onto the router...This would halt anyone trying to connect... If your computer has been reinstalled then your computer is not the issue of why someone could logon to your router. Also Virginmedia range for wireless is a very short range and anyone logging on from outside your home would have connection problems... We need to speak with your father about this matter.....
  25. Hello there,I cannot recommend a specific one, maybe someone else can... But if you look here maybe you will find something you may like to try: http://download.cnet.com/windows/video-editing-software/
